This course is perfect for anyone looking to start a new career as a forklift operator – or for employers who want to ensure proper, certified training for their team. Course Overview The theory covers forklift classes T1 through T5. During the practical training, you’ll operate T1, T2, T3, and T4 – the most commonly used forklifts in the logistics industry. You’ll receive a forklift certificate for the classes you complete hands-on training with, registered in the national certification database and fully approved by the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority. What You'll Learn Safety and HSE in practice Different forklift types and their uses Safe load handling and stability control Accident prevention and emergency response Daily inspections and basic maintenance Course Duration The course typically lasts 4 days, provided you complete the e-learning sent to you beforehand. Some participants may need an extra day of driving practice – this is included in the price. Most importantly – we never let anyone leave until the certificate is in your hands. Modules: Module 1.1: Working environment, responsibilities, and consequences Module 2.2: Forklifts for goods handling Module 3.2: Basic practical training Module 4.2: Hands-on driving training Digital Learning Module 1 (Work environment, responsibilities, and consequences) is completed digitally at YKO, giving participants the flexibility to complete this part of the training whenever it suits them best. The digital format saves time and travel costs, while maintaining the same quality and official approval as classroom-based instruction. The course can be completed on both mobile and PC and must be finished before the practical training starts. This provides a flexible and efficient start to the forklift certification.
